Sandpipers
- Beginning this Fall, children ages
3-5, accompanied by their grown-up, will be able to explore our Sanctuary through this special program designed specifically for the littlest naturalists. Sandpipers will meet twice a month on weekday mornings.

- Blackie’s Pasture Work Days
- 2nd Saturday of each month*,
9am-12pm
- Bring your family and friends for a morning of restoration and clean-up along the shores of Blackie’s Pasture. We will be removing trash and invasive plants. We are excited to be starting another great year of restoration efforts at Blackie’s. RSVP: 388-2524 ext 107.
- *November & April workdays will be on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
- A Backyard for Birds
- Saturday, November 3rd, 9:30am-11:30am
Make your backyard an inviting spot for our feathered friends! Learn how to create homemade birdfeeders, determine what seed to use for which birds, and enjoy a short bird walk around the Sanctuary. Cost: $10 adult / $5 child. RSVP: 388-2524 ext 112.
- Oyster Sleuths
- Saturday, November 17th, 10am 12pm
Help track the growth and recruitment of young oysters, and learn about their unique role amongst the eelgrass in Richardson Bay. Cost: $10 adult / $5 child. RSVP: 388-2524 ext 103.
- Green Gifting
- Saturday, December 1st, 10am 12pm
Make the holidays a little brighter and the Earth a little greener by creating gifts from recyclable materials. Cost: $15 per participant. RSVP: 388-2524 ext 112.
- Art From Earth
- Saturday, December 15th, 10am 12pm
Local artist Ane Carla Rovetta helps us combine our wild side with our inner artist. Cost: $12 adult / $7 child. RSVP: 388-2524 ext 112.
